Ministries

Membership & Healthcare Ministry

The Tape Ministry sends tapes of the church service to the housebound and their caregivers, and two receive the bulletin each week. Volunteers do the taping, copying, and mailing.

The Flower Ministry - When the altar flowers are donated, bouquets are made up and delivered to those who are felt to need cheering.

The Card Ministry has expanded to include all those over 90 years of age and the Homebound.

The Transportation Team provides transportation for those who need it. A team of volunteers take turns picking up and taking home the person once a month each. There are substitutes lined up.

The Sitting Ministry is used only when requested. When a caregiver needs a break.

The Health Ministry. Nurses are available to talk with anyone who request
this service. They are willing to do a home visit if preferred. They do Blood Pressure Screening on the first Sunday of each month, after the 9:30 service.

The Homebound Ministry Take a moment to consider how you might feel if you could no longer worship and attend your church. What would your life be like without the fellowship worship experience? Many of our homebound members had attended church all of their lives, before the circumstance of their health or the health of a loved one made it difficult or impossible to attend services. Many miss church fellowship profoundly. Are you willing to help keep their connection with their church family alive?

Membership -Classes are held at least twice a year. Those wishing to join
please call Kathy Ayers 495-7215 ext. 304.
